Particularly in Colorado, there are so many vintage and rustic inspired brides it made it so much fun to work with Megan Toohey on her graphic and contemporary wedding at the Seawell Grand Ballroom at the DCPA. Her color palette was a simple canary yellow and royal blue and her floral was constructed with profusions of a single type of bloom including calla lilies, orchids and roses. The uniqueness of her design as created through the "tipped" floral pieces that were bundled and then placed in a structured grid on the table surface. The piece de resistance was the fabulous tulips designs that hung over the head table. Over 700 yellow tulips in each acrylic box hung over their heads. It was an abundance of clean lines and pools of complementing colors and designs. The florals were beautifully accented with midnight taffeta table linens from La Tavola on a variety of table sizes along with Ghost Chairs and fabulous draping and uplighting done by the DCPA. Catering was done by Epicurean and photography by Dana Romanoff. Thanks to Table 6 productions and Megan's beautiful vision the night was spectacular and truly beautiful.
