Boutique Buzz: Add shine to your spring style with these new jewelry arrivals

The Perfect Petal boutique has been getting a bit of a makeover as of late, between decor and goodies migrating over from Posh, NY handbags hitting the tables, and new accessories sitting pretty behind the glass.

We're smitten over our latest arrivals of necklaces, earrings, bracelets and stylish hair ties. It's time to get sparklin' under the sun, as these beauties will surely add some shine to your spring style.

One of our newest loves is Nashelle. Not only do these pieces have favorable price points, but this company supports green business by using recycled metals and natural gemstones.

If that's not enough, their mission is to lend a helping hand to those in need through every piece of jewelry they sell, whether it be clothing or feeding a child, helping a family with medical expenses or supporting local education. Oh, and they can do some amazing customization.

Our next line of eye-catchers just came to us this week: Dara Ettinger New York

Who said turquoise had to be turquoise? If you're in need of a clever conversation-starter, these coral turquoise earrings, yes, coral-colored turquoise, are sure to do the trick.

These druzy and agate pieces get their sparkle from the top crystal formation of geodes.

If you're feeling bold one day, then sparkly the next, this necklace can be worn two different ways.

Last but most certainly not least, the newest collection from Lindsay Bloom made its Colorado debut at The Petal just last week. See her full collection.

Hair ties and bracelets in one.
Best combo ever: Bloom Black Ties.

2013 Colorado Best Of Awards

Colorado Meetings & Events Magazine held its seventh annual Colorado Best Of Awards on March 25 at the Denver Art Museum. Not only does this event showcase the Best Of Award Winners (hand-picked by meeting planners, event planners and suppliers), but it is also a celebration of Hall of Fame Inductees and the always unique and insightful Editor's Picks

Grant Oakes Photography captured the momentous evening and some of The Petal's arrangements on display. Special thanks to Eclective Hive for inviting us to add floral to their floorplan. This event design trio had the room in an uproar with their hot, new furniture collections and belly bar seating.

Our very own Cindy Ollig (far left below) and Tara Murphy (third from left below) were in attendance as well.

DiaNoche Designs, Sorial and Bloom to be featured at Petal Playdate on March 21

Join The Perfect Petal for an all-day Playdate, showcasing art that will light up your life (literally), bags so hot they were featured at Coterie, and a special arrival of a jewelry line that is locally made and Hollywood approved.

We're very excited about a radiant new approach to elegant wall decorating from DiaNoche Designs: illuminated art. Lighting designer Rachel Mathews will be displaying close to 20 pieces that put a new spin on an old idea, depicting an "art today, light tonight" concept. If it's love at first light, rest assured that Rachel will be taking orders on the spot.

Sorial, the hottest line of handbags at Coterie in NYC, turned a trade show booth into a buying battleground. Come get your hands on baby soft metallic leathers lined with leopard fun fur, uber darling wristlets covered in brightly covered faux snakeskin, and real leather snake-printed clutches. Bring your game face, ladies.

If that's not enough, Lindsay Bloom with Bloom Jewelry will be showing off her newest collection, White. Each timeless collection is designed by Lindsay and manufactured in Denver. This local-jewelry-line-gone-big has been featured by E!, InStyle, Lucky and more.

What are Perfect Petal Playdates? From up-and-coming artists to darling designers, we're showcasing the best and the brightest in this year-long series. Check out our curated calendar.

Winter Love: Amy and Evan at Devil's Thumb

Our friend Amy married one of our longtime chums, Evan, on Dec. 29 at Devil's Thumb Ranch

Amy is gentle and radiant, graceful and tender with a smile to die for. Evan is wry and charming, gregarious and devilish. Together, they make a perfect and rare fit and we were happy for each of them.

Appropriate for their personalities and the quiet snow covered fields, they wanted natural, comfortable mountain decor to grace their wonderful evening.

They chose Jill Kull of Cloud 9 Weddings to coordinate the day and Katie with Van Buren Photography to capture the sentiments and revelry. The Perfect Petal brought layers and layers of candlelight; hanging, clustered, twinkling, candlelight.

Evergreen trees were wrapped in linen knots and white lights adding to the intimate ambiance; long pine branches and pine cones infused the air at the ceremony and a river of winter foliage and found antique vases flowed down the center of the 50' feasting table in the barn.

The girls requested romantic hair flowers and petite lush bouquets to complement Amy's bouquet.

Bold, timeless florals topped the simple yet elegant cake, adding a seasonal, personal touch.

'Twas a magical night.
